Dear HKICC Friends,

In my coaching practice, one of the issues I like to review with my clients is their belief system. I ask my clients questions so as to explore what beliefs drive them and what beliefs are holding them back. It’s always very important to review our beliefs from time to time to see what is serving us and what is holding us back. We may be inadvertently holding on to irrational beliefs, which we have accumulated from past experiences, whereas these beliefs may no longer be serving us, or worse, may be holding us back from living a full life ...

Dear Readers,

I’ve just advanced my coaching skills and certification level having studied Fearless Loving - and my mind is very much focused on LOVE! Love. What does that mean to you?

The only part of love that we can control is the part that comes from ourselves. ...

What led you into coaching?
I guess I first realised that I found pleasure in coaching (though I didn’t call it that at the time) about 20 years ago. Back then, I had just been introduced to NLP and Ericksonian hypnosis and was studying Psychology. I had found a particular way of collaborating with people to uncover or reconnect with passion and purpose, and to troubleshoot their lives. I was finding success and meaning in this so I continued to do it.  I still love it and continue to train to become more helpful in my profession. As a counsellor and coach (and teacher) I’m engaged in regular ongoing professional development with the purpose of becoming able to help people enrich their lives more deeply and more powerfully, all the time.
