What moved you to give your time so generously to make a contribution to HKICC?
Basically, a few years ago, when I joined HKICC as a member and tried to learn something from this community, I found the workshops and some of the programs very inspiring and intellectually well grounded. Besides, this community is very beautiful and full of “diversity” and everyone here is very unique. I do want to contribute myself towards the further success of HKICC and that is why I became the VP (Membership) last April.
What do you most like about the community? What do you least like about it?
I like the warmth, uniqueness of different members, the diversity of our group and seeing changes in some members when they become involved more in coaching, personal & corporate growth of our community.
What is your definition of coaching?

My coaching “mistakes” when I deliver my paid coaching assignment a few years ago and suddenly, right at that crucial moment, I realized when I was wrong.

“Ecclesiastes”, from the Old Testament, Bible, esp. Chapter 3, it said, “There is a time for everything, a time to cry and a time to laugh …… ”
What are your hobbies?
Playing basketball, reading, dialogue with people from different background and nations. Intellectual debate and enquiry

Reflective mind and uncompromising support
Who or what is most important to you?
My family, my old aged mother
What is your greatest luxury?
I have a very capable and passionate wife and two young but very independent ladies (daughters) who inspire/teach me a lot
What special quotes or words really inspire you?
“May be words are just vehicles, and the tone is the content “(p.40)
Communicating, quoted from “For the Love of Children ", meditations on the growing up with children, by Ulrich Schaffer, 1980. This is the book (a gift from my 2 students in early ‘80 when I was a high school teacher) that I used to read and read when my two daughters were very young. Now, they are grown-up young and independent ladies. Those tones from my daughters are very reflective and always teach me to be humble in ourselves, as those young babies. They seem to be powerless, yet, they are very powerful and full of spirit.
