Message from the
President

I like to dedicate this issue to honor all of our
wonderful coaches who have given up their vacations
and time to work during the summer holidays for
HKICC. We have many initiatives this year, which
include editorial, web design, workshops,
marketing, membership, finance and joint projects
and these are never easy, and I appreciate the hard
work from all coaches involved.
Sadly for this month, I’ll lose several core
members of my team. I’d like to take this
opportunity to say thanks and goodbye to Deborah,
Trish and Sebastien who have done so much for the
Community.

| Top 10 tips on how to have a perfect life |
 |
|
By Deborah WY Ko
1. Know exactly how you define success – begin to
live your life by your own design rather than by
society or loved ones;
2. Understand that no one or nothing is ever perfect
– abandon perfectionism and replace it with inner pride;
3. Accept, then perfect, what isn’t perfect –
acceptance is the key to perfection;
4. Perfect your self-care – a perfect life isn’t
sustainable without extreme self-care; treat
yourself to an activity or a hobby you enjoy
everyday because you know you deserve it;

The
Release Effect
--Permanently change
your negative feelings--
Are you or your clients blocked from
doing what you want to do by feelings such as fear,
hurt, pain, doubt etc.?
This
guided personal development process is the easiest
and best way I've found to release internal
barriers to change. It is profound and it
compliments coaching perfectly. I'm recommending it
to anyone who wants to live life completely by
conscious choice.
--Angela Spaxman, Founding President of
HKICC

Dear all,
“You can’t be a coach, you’re
just a kid!” people exclaimed when I told them
about my plans to start my professional
training. To be called a “kid”
when I was already 35 going on 36 was undeniably
music to my ears but also proof the numerous jars of
ridiculously expensive face creams and lotions did
actually work; however
