Dear Friends,

Well this will be my final message to you as
Editor at HKCC. I had expected to stay in Hong Kong
for considerably longer. However, circumstances
have contrived to modify my plans. I have come to
accept that life can be a transient experience. I am
disappointed to be leaving, but although I had
hoped to experience much more, I do not leave with
any regrets.
I would like to thank all those who welcomed me
to the community and to my colleagues at HKCC for
offering me such a wonderful opportunity to share
my thoughts with you. HKCC is on the verge of a
fantastic transition and I look forward to observing
its development, even if from afar. It’s an
exciting time!
So while I step into the unknown, on the next
stage of my journey, I take with me fond memories,
new friends and knowledge that I have grown as a
person. I wish you all continued successes in your
endeavours and hope that our paths will cross again
in the future.
Have a great month
Michelle

| Coach? So what? |
 |
|
by Charlie Lang
You are a life coach, an
executive coach, a
corporate coach, a fitness coach, a personal coach,
a financial coach, an image coach…
Sorry, if I forgot to mention the specific type
of coach you are.
Whether you have just completed your coaching
education or are already a seasoned coach, it
doesn’t really matter. Just imagine that you
meet someone who doesn’t know you.
Let’s call that person Susan.
Susan asks you, “So, what is it you do for
a living?”
What would be your natural answer?
I used to say, “I am an executive coach
and trainer.”
The typical response I would get would be
“Hm, hm, interesting.” The conversation
would then go on to something else.

Vitamins for the
mind
People are always cautious of what food they
take in for the body – avoiding anything that
is poisonous or hazardous to their physical health.
More health conscious people may take
vitamins, health supplements or do regular
exercises to enhance their health. What about our
mind ? It needs vitamins too so as to eradicate the
thought virus and unleash our potential ! Come and
learn how !

Message from the President |

Please Join Our Annual General Meeting
on 26th April 2006 at 6:30-9:00pm and elect your
next President and the Management Committee
Members.
My presidency will terminate at the end of April
and I would like to take this opportunity to thank
the Executive Committee and all members for the
trust and support extended to me during my term. It
was indeed a very valuable experience to have
worked with a group of highly talented Vice
Presidents who come from more than 6 countries.
Margaret Mead said, “Never doubt that a
small group of thoughtful, concerned citizens can
change the world. Indeed, it is the only
thing that ever has.”
I am glad to see the increase in number of our
members and new names in the nomination list of the
Management Committee 2006/07. Along with
our new entity as HKICC, I believe the new
president will lead us to another level of
advancement.
There are few names I would like to mention and
express my appreciation here. They are Pooja
Bhagat, Monika Parker, Veronica Lee and Michelle
Lewis who served diligently in the past Exco and
will resign at the end of this term.
To express your views and concerns, join
us at the upcoming Focus Meeting:
Date: 12 Apr 2006
Time: 6:00pm
Place: 1302 Chung Name Bldg.,
1 Lockhart Rd., WanChai.
Enquiry: 81062126
Cheers,
Bonnie
Chan
