Home > HKCC Coaching Standards - Handling Complaints

Introduction:

All Coaches listed in the HKCC Directory of Coaches agree to abide by the HKCC Coaching Standards.

HKCC is not responsible for the work of its member coaches, nor does it monitor them on an ongoing basis. HKCC coaches are responsible for their own work and own results. However, HKCC will address complaints against the Standards, if they are brought to our attention.

How to Submit a Complaint

If you wish to complain about one of the coaches in our Directory, we suggest the following steps:

  1. If possible, speak directly to the Coach who is the object of your complaint. Most likely the Coach will be able to resolve the problem directly with you.
  2. Send an email with the details of your complaint to our Complaints Standing Committee at complaints@coachinghk.org
  3. Contact one of the Complaints Standing Committee members directly by phone:
  4. Mr SK Shum
VP, R&D of the Hong Kong Coaching Community
    Life Coach with Serenity Coaching
    Tel: 9188 5565

    Ms Angela Spaxman
Immediate Past President of the Hong Kong Coaching Community
Business & Career Coaching with Spaxman Ltd.
    Tel: 2918-0785

  5. The Standing Committee will contact you within 48 hours to follow-up with the complaint.

Supporting Coaches with Problems

The HKCC is committed to supporting members to handle complaints or problems related to the HKCC Coaching Standards. Members with such problems are encouraged to contact members of the Complaints Standing Committee for support. Communications regarding problems and complaints will be kept completely confidential.
