The 2006 HKICC Christmas Party...

The HKICC held its annual Christmas Party in mid December and some 30 members and friends of the community gathered at The Viceroy restaurant in Hong Kong and enjoyed an evening of yummy Indian cuisine.

Despite rainy weather outside, our atmosphere of conversations and laughter were relaxed, warm and friendly.   Supporting the party's theme of international cultural costume, some members were beautifully attired: President SK Shum together with first lady Galia looked spectacular in their Chinese emperor & empress matched costumes, Florence Lau wore an 'ao dais' an elegant ladies' Vietnamese national dress, Angela Spaxman was in a smart casual Canadian style outfit....just to name a few.

Highlights (and there were a few!) of the evening included…gift exchanges and lucky draw prizes where everyone had a chance for their name to be picked....and the entertainment of the evening was Magic Wilson's Show Time performed by Wilson Wan.   Acts ranged from a blank notebook that magically transformed to a notebook full of text which then turned into a stamped-filled book after a few magic 'shakes', to the 3-rings-trick, then the amazing cards trick.... The audience paid close attention all through and was in awe of how Magic Wilson executed his actions....!   This really reflects how diversely talented our coaches are!!  Many Thanks Wilson for sharing so much fun with us!

A great time was had by all - thanks must go to Bonnie Chan - IPP (immediate past president) for organizing the evening, to volunteers Katherine Lo, Regina Chan, Summer Chan, SK and Galia for all the superb arrangements.  Extra Special Thanks also to our Sponsors for their generosity!
