Energy field

by Kate Koranyi

We’re all bundles of energy – walking, talking magnets, attracting exactly what we vibrate. In other words, what happens in our lives is not just due to hard work or sheer fate. It boils down to the kind of energy we vibrate and there are only two types: positive and negative.

When you feel good, you invite good experiences and vice-versa. Nobody is immune to the energy rule, otherwise known as the law of attraction.

You can repeat positive statements all day, but if you don’t believe and feel them, they have little effect. We’re taught that hard work equals good results, but without feeling good in the process, we end up sabotaging our efforts. Energy dictates our every move and whether we produce good or bad energy depends on the way we feel.

Here’s the irony of the principle: the reason many people don’t achieve what they want is because they focus on the lack of something. In other words, it’s easy to set yourself up for failure by dwelling on what’s missing and that in turn produces negative energy.

If you say, “I don’t want to be financially challenged any more”, what you’re really expressing is a classic “don’t want” wish. The focus is instantly on the fact that you have financial problems and this creates a tidal wave of negative feelings. It’s hard to get excited when all you see are obstacles.

It’s crucial to put yourself in the feel-good zone by imagining how life will be in a financially abundant environment. Visualise as many details as possible, use your imagination, and above all, feel good, and be convinced that it will happen – because it will when your energy is good.

The feelings you produce make or break your future happiness. If you feel anything but good, you’re exuding blocked energy, which is why things stagnate.

The energy law is liberating. It sets you free and you never have to be a victim again. You have a choice and that’s empowering. You’re no longer at the mercy of outside circumstances.

Our instant gratification society has conditioned us to want everything at the push of a button. When things don’t go according to plan, we become negative and give up. This is destructive energy at its worst and counter-productive.

Here’s how you can start applying the energy rule:

  • Focus on what you want and produce happy feelings.
  • Eliminate “don’t want” wishes.
  • Be 100 per cent convinced you’ll reach your goal. Make it real by living as if you’re already there.
  • Get excited about your life: dream, fantasise, be passionate, buzz, intend, experiment, get an adrenaline rush, imagine, be curious, desire, laugh – anything to get your energy flowing in a more positive direction.
  • Exchange your “to do” list for a “to feel” list.
  • Give yourself checks by asking, “How am I flowing my energy?”
  • You don’t have to always know how you’ll achieve something. It’s enough to produce positive energy.
  • Stay out of anything that makes you feel less than good, including past regrets, being hard on yourself, living in fear and focusing on what’s missing.
  • Don’t take score too soon, because impatience will set you back.
