Activities

HKCC Annual General Meeting 2004

HKCC held its second Annual General Meeting on January 26 to review past achievements and the financial status and to bring in the new Executive Committee.

2004 was a year of building foundations for the Community with the result that we have created systems to provide for a sustainable organization for years to come.

 

Key achievements:

• Provided for paid administrative and technical support for the Executive Committee
• Grew subscribers list from about 300 to 430
• Implemented the new membership fees structure
• Upgraded the website
• Initiated CoachXChange – a subcommittee focusing on providing resources and opportunities for new coaches
• Initiated a volunteer coaching program with Salvation Army whereby members can practice coaching skills and also give back to the community. Meetings are sponsored by Professional Training and Strategy Ltd.
• Produced 9 full featured newsletters with articles on coaches and coaching and ads to promote our member’s events and services
• Held 10 Professional Development meetings sponsored by DD Centre
• Held 14 Focus meetings and Vision meetings sponsored by Active Communications
• Held a fun-filled annual party in December
• Organized 3 luncheon meetings with overseas coaches
• Organized 3 major special events: Personal Inspiration Day in May 2004, Coach the Coach Day in September 2004 and Speed Coaching in January 2005.

As of February 1st, 2005, HKCC has 57 members and has recorded a small surplus for the past year to maintain a secure financial position.

HKCC thanked the past committee for their contributions to the organization with the presentation of a graphic for their websites as a symbol of their leadership and commitment to the development of coaching in Hong Kong. (See below)
