Using Carl Yung's theory of Shadow, Dr. Chou will demonstrate how shadow influences our daily lives, and why the transformation of shadow is essential to personal growth.

Shadow refers to the aspects of ourselves that we havenít fully accepted. We often push it away and project onto others to create an imagined enemy, reflected in our sarcastic remark and judgment upon the `other'.
In this experiential learning session, we will to identify our own shadow, and to transform it to become our strengths. Only when we make friends and make peace with our shadow, we become fully human.

About the presenter:
Dr. Chou taught Sociology and Psychoanalysis in Hong Kong Polytechnic University (1988-1991) and in Hong Kong University (1994-1998). He had published 29 books and now conducts workshops for personal growth.
